Hello!  My name is Kristi O'Malley and I am so excited to be at Douglass Valley this year!

Douglass Valley's Physical Education program encourages every student to succeed, regardless of his/her ability or experience.  Students will work cooperatively with others while developing a sense of fair play and sportsmanship. Active participation will in turn promote the students to carry on a healthy lifestyle

I have taught P.E. for 12 years in several different school districts.  My husband is in the Air Force and we have lived in eight different states!  In my free time I enjoy being with my family, hiking, Zumba, and going to sporting events.  Especially my daughter's tennis matches and my son's baseball games!

I look forward to working with all of the students and teaching them to love being active and making healthy choices.

Don’t forget that tennis shoes are required for participation in P.E. This is mostly a safety concern. Athletic shoes give the foot and ankle the support needed during physical activity. Please help your child remember to wear his/her P.E. shoes on the correct P.E. day. Thanks for your cooperation. I am excited to get your children moving this year!
